Deeper child protection for staff in UAE public and private schools who work closely with the same students over time: class and homeroom teachers, teaching assistants, counsellors, nurses and coaches. It builds on Safeguarding and Child Protection Level 1 for UAE Schools, which you should complete first. You will go beyond Level 1 into early support and what happens after a report, violence at home and the duty to report it, abuse between children (including sexual harassment and fake or AI-made sexual images), criminal and sexual exploitation, child labour, weapons, views that urge hatred or violence, pressure to marry and other harmful practices, online risk and filtering, prejudice-based harm, mental health and when to call 999 or 998, writing a record that stands up, sharing information only with those who need to know, and where an allegation about a member of staff goes in your kind of school. It is built on Federal Law No. 3 of 2016 on Child Rights (Wadeema's Law) and Cabinet Resolution No. 52 of 2018, Federal Decree-Law No. 13 of 2024 on Protection Against Domestic Violence, the Ministry of Education's National Child Protection Policy and Code of Conduct, ADEK's school policies (Abu Dhabi private and charter schools) and KHDA's rules (Dubai private schools). It does not replace the training ADEK sets for Child Protection Coordinators. If your school has its own policies, follow them for the detail.

14 questions are selected for each attempt, one group per learning outcome. You need 80% to pass. If you do not pass, the feedback points you back to the section each question came from. You have 3 attempts to pass. A pass is never counted, so you can always take the course again once you have passed. 5 attempts that do not pass within 12 months close the assessment for 12 months.
An employer sees whether you passed and your certificate. They never see your answers, your scores or how many attempts you took.

Safeguarding and Child Protection Level 2 for UAE Schools
Certificate of completion
Anyone can check it on the verification page, without an account.
One section is open below. The other 26, the narration, the transcripts and the assessment come with Premium.
This course builds on Level 1, where you learned the signs of abuse, how to respond to a disclosure and how to report. It assumes you have completed Level 1.
Level 2 is for staff who spend longer with the same students. That time changes what you can see. This course doesn't replace the training that ADEK sets for Child Protection Coordinators.
When you work with a student for weeks, you learn their normal: who chats, who is quiet, who always eats lunch. So you are more likely to notice when something changes.
No single adult sees the whole of a child's life. Each piece can look small on its own. Put together by your child protection lead, the pieces can show a child who needs help.
Protecting children is everyone's responsibility. You don't need to be sure that something is wrong. You need to notice it and tell the right person.
Here is the route you learned at Level 1.
In every school, the first step is the same: tell your child protection lead.
Based on: the child protection route and the 'You don't need to be sure' rule from the Level 1 course, copied word for word (Wadeema's Law, the Ministry of Education's National Child Protection Policy, ADEK's Student Protection Policy and KHDA's rules); ADEK's Student Protection Policy (section 3.4.1, CPC training); and general good practice (knowing a student's normal, the pieces of the picture and the reveal).
